If you're looking for Mexican Restaurants Indianapolis, this restaurant is worth trying! This restaurant has delicious, fresh Mexican food at a reasonable price. The menu features all of your traditional Mexican food items.

The atmosphere is light-hearted and fun. The restaurant is colorful and cheery - just check out the photo to the right!

With such an extensive menu, you're bound to find something that you're interested in eating. There is a long list of lunch specialties, as well as "house" specialties. Whether you're looking for Indianapolis lunch restaurants, or Indianapolis dinner restaurants - this Mexican restaurant is great.

Their "30 Combination Dinners" are my favorite. This is a list of 30 different combinations of Mexican specialties - all for just $7.25 each! It's a great option for people that can't decide on just one food item.

ZING - Redefining dining from A to Zing

The atmosphere of Zing is modern, with unique lighting which everyone in our marketing team was interested in. Our group of 8 people was quickly seated and our server was very attentive. She was knowledgeable of the menu and offered to customize our meals depending on what we wanted.

This restaurant was great for sharing food with friends - although our marketing team didn't decide to share meals when we went for lunch. Zing prides itself on the presentation of its each meal and tries to make your experience there "fun and entertaining."

For example, I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich (original, I know). But at Zing, I didn't just order a grilled cheese sandwich - I ordered the gourmet tex-mex grilled cheese sandwich: "toasted crusty bread on jalapeno, spiced cream cheese and mozzarella." As a side order, I chose french fries - which were delicious! I would highly recommend ordering them.

At Zing, you're not just eating - you're enjoying the experience. The atmosphere was sheek and modern and a great place to go on a date or with a group of people.

Everyone in our marketing team liked the food and the atmosphere, and all said they would go back!

Creation Cafe

If you're looking for a downtown Indianapolis restaurant - check out this restaurant. This great little restaurant is tucked at the north end of the canal. After spending some time walking the length of the canal, my boyfriend and I stopped at the Creation Cafe for dinner. The location of this restaurant is perfect. Essentially, people reach a dead end at this part of the canal. So what's next?! Eat!

For starters, the sign was appealing so we decided to give it a shot. We walked into the restaurant and the atmosphere was great. It had the feel of a small coffee shop, yet it served delicious food! The outside balcony overlooked the canal. There was a 30 minute wait to sit outside, so we were asked to sit and wait near the actually "cafe" part of the restaurant (where they really did serve coffee). There were comfy couches and chairs with numerous books to read while we waited. Needless to say, the wait went quickly and their service was caring and prompt.

The food was absolutely delicious. The waiter recommended the Cuban sandwich - so I ordered it. The portions were generous and I took enough home for another meal. The french fries were also great - some of the best fries I've ever eaten!

Overall, the portions were generous, the food was fresh, and the menu had many options. Creation Cafe's menu was general, but all of the food had a special twist to it. It's a restaurant in Indianapolis that still hasn't been discovered yet.

The Oceanaire Seafood Room

If you're looking for the best seafood restaurant Indianapolis, then The Oceanaire Seafood Room is the place for you! This fine dining restaurant is located a block south of Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis, and sets the standard for seafood restaurants from coast-to-coast.

Being seafood lovers, my boyfriend, Justin, and I chose this restaurant for a date night on Thursday night. From the moment we walked in the door, the service was wondering. We were led up to our table on the second floor by a staircase that looked much like the one in Titanic leading us upstairs. The atmosphere had a "seafood chic" feel. People were there for all different occasions. Mind you, this was the same night as the Indianapolis Colts preseason game. So some people were there in their Colts jerseys, while others came from work in business suits.

Our waiter was great - friendly, professional, and a seafood connoisseur. He suggested the Halibut Cheeks and King Salmon. Justin went with the Salmon, I got the Halibut, and we shared a side order of mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious! The fish was very fresh and didn't have a "fishy" taste at all, and the mashed potatoes were great as well.

The portion sizes were very generous - I ate leftovers for three days after we went! Side orders are served "family style," so just make sure that everyone in your party can agree on something! Definitely take a look at their extensive wine menu as well!

I give it two thumbs up... and would go as far as calling it: "The Oceanaire Extraordinarie!"

Looking for a great place to get a sandwich in downtown Indianapolis? Stars Sandwich Market is a great place to stop for homemade soup, a premade sandwich, or a premade salad.

Stars Sandwich Market offers a traditional lunch menu - although the "menu" is a display of sandwiches and salads that you can choose yourself. It is a great Indianapolis lunch restaurants and is within walking distance of Monument Circle. It's a great way to support small, local restaurants.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is a mix of modern and retro. As you can see in the picture, seating consisted of tall tables with bar stools.

Overall the atmosphere was fun, pricing was very reasonable, and the food was great. It's a great restaurant to eat in, or grab your lunch on the go.

Petite Chou: A taste of Paris in Indianapolis

If you're looking for a great place to get breakfast Indianapolis, try this delicious restaurant located along the canal in Broad Ripple. Petite Chou was created, owned, and operated by Café Patachou.

The atmosphere was very welcoming. I noticed that many people brought their dogs, opting for an outside table and fresh water for their dogs (compliments of Petite Chou).

There was about a 30 minute wait to get an outside table since the weather was great. We were able to grab a cup of coffee (at a self-serve coffee station) while we waited to be seated. After we were seated, the service was good. Although the staff was busy, they were still attentive, as well as knowledgeable about the menu.

The food was absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh, and they try to use organic products when available. I got the broken yolk bacon and avocado sandwich on wheat bread - delicious! It was served with fresh fruit, and I also got coffee. The sandwich was filling and didn't leave me hungry until the evening, so it was a great option! There were many items to choose from on their menu. Each of my friends got an omelette, which they said was delicious. I'll try one of those next time!
